Babana Djurumin are experienced researchers in built environment disciplines. Our research is grounded in Indigenous theoretical and methodological approaches, using cultural design principles. Our research interests include identity and narratives in space, spatial reclamation and sustainability of culture, designing cross-cultural spaces, contemporary indigenous identity and how it might be formalised through built form, and the urban Indigenous community.
